Strawberry Lemon Iced Tea

By Heather Wirtz April 19, 2016
This beverage is easy to make and adds a little bit of fancy to traditional iced tea. If serving to kiddos, you can use a caffeine-free iced tea or replace iced tea with lemonade.

Ingredients:
4 cups iced tea, your preference of sweetened or unsweetened and store bought or homemade
8 strawberries, washed, de-stemmed and sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
Mint leaves, washed and taken off stem

Directions:
  1. In a pitcher or bowl, combine iced tea, strawberries and lemon, then stir.
  2. Refrigerate for about one hour. Letting it sit for a while helps the strawberry and lemon flavors incorporate into the iced tea.
  3. Pour into glasses over ice, making sure to distribute the strawberries and lemon slices, garnish with mint leaves. Enjoy! Makes about 4 servings.
