Sweet Pumpkin Dip

By Heather Wirtz November 15, 2016
As soon as "pumpkin season" is in sight, friends and family start requesting pumpkin dip at each gathering we host. This dip is simple to make and popular with the kids and adults. Some of our favorite things to dip are graham crackers, ginger snaps, crackers, pretzels and fresh fruit.

Ingredients:
1 lb. cream cheese (2 8 oz. blocks)
1 can pumpkin
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (optional)
1/4 cup chocolate chips
pinch cinnamon
pinch nutmeg
pinch clove or allspice

Directions:
  1. Using a mixer, mix cream cheese for 1 minute by itself to remove any lumps.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to cream cheese, except chocolate chips, and mix well.
  3. Add chocolate chips and stir.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  5. When ready to serve, garnish with a few chocolate chips.
