Pulled BBQ Chicken

Using only 3 ingredients!

A busy weekend and no meal planned...that is how this recipe was created.  We had chicken and BBQ sauce on hand, so we tossed it in the oven and awaited the results.  After a few hours, the chicken shredded easily and it was prefect for quick sandwiches.  You can make this recipe in a slow cooker too!

Ingredients:

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 - 1 1/2 cups BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 325F
2. In a large oven-safe casserole dish, add chicken and top with 1 cup BBQ sauce
3. Cover with foil and place in oven for 2 hours or until chicken shreds easily 
4. Remove pan from oven and remove foil
5. Using a knife and fork, shred chicken in casserole dish
6. Add additional BBQ sauce if needed and sprinkle cheese evenly over shredded chicken (optional)

7. Put uncovered dish back in the oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted
8. Remove from oven and serve hot
