Ingredients:
1 cup Italian-style dried bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
Salt and black pepper
2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
24 large white mushrooms, cleaned and stems separated from the caps
Parchment paper
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a pot of boiling water, blanch mushrooms for 1 minute. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine bread crumbs, grated cheese, garlic, salt and pepper. Add olive oil and stir well.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Spoon the filling into the mushroom caps and arrange on the baking sheet.
- Bake until the mushrooms are tender, the filling is heated through and golden brown on top, about 25 minutes.
- Serve warm.
