Santa's Favorite Snacks with a Little Help From Target

Sponsored by Target

By Heather Wirtz December 10, 2014
Each year, as a family, we try to come up with new treats to enjoy around Christmastime and of course, to leave out for Santa himself! Now that my boys are getting older, they have lots of ideas of their own - so, I decided to take them on a shopping excursion for ingredients at Target. I'm pretty sure they saw this as an opportunity to add a few last minute requests to their Christmas lists too, as I lost them in Target's toy aisle for a while ... but I digress.

We found everything we needed to prepare a feast for Santa and his team!

We love the combination of salty and sweet, so we came up with a two ideas that use chips and pretzels with chocolate - we are certain Santa will love these too! Next, we wanted to make a treat for the reindeer and something easy for Santa to bring back for his hard working elves! And lastly, a nice hot beverage perfect for a chilly night.

Here are some extra special snacks for Santa and his friends, all crafted from simple ingredients found at our local Target.

Chip will easily peel off of the parchment paper once chocolate is fully hardened.
