Hidden Kiss Cookies - A slightly sweet cookie with a hidden chocolaty treat inside!
Ingredients:
1 cup butter; softened
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
Hershey's Kisses (about 36 kisses)
Chocolate Drizzle
1/2 cup melting chocolate
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces.
- In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla.
- Add flour, mix well. This dough will be VERY dry and crumbly!
- Mold a tablespoon of dough around each kiss, making sure it is completely covered. Roll into ball shape. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Repeat with remainder of dough and kisses.
- Bake 10-12 minutes or until set.
- Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet.
- Once cooked, drizzle with melted chocolate. Set aside until chocolate is hardened.
