Tamera shared one of her favorite super simple, "mom hack" recipes with Macaroni Kid - Tamera's Toasted Banana Bites. This recipe only takes minutes to make and uses only 5 ingredients that you likely have on hand! Did I mention it is healthy too??

Tamera's Toasted Banana Bites
Ingredients:
- 2 large bananas
- 1 cup of oats (quick or regular - if you use regular you will need to chop them a little so it holds the cookies together better)
- 1 handful of chocolate chips (raisins or dried cranberries if your kids like those)
- 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
Directions:
- Set oven to 350 degrees.
- Smash the bananas and then mix them together with the oats. Too runny? Add more oats.
- Add the coconut flakes, chia seeds, and a handful of chocolate chips. (raisins or dried cranberries). Be sure not to add too much of these goodies or the cookies won't hold together.
- Tablespoon the mix onto a greased cooking pan, spaced apart.
- Bake in oven for 15 minutes.
- Let them cool for a few minutes and enjoy these healthy bites!
