By Heather Wirtz March 15, 2016
Did you know that PEEPS® come in many different colors and flavors? Did you know PEEPS® come fudge coated, chocolate covered and even hiding INSIDE of a hollow chocolate egg? Did you know PEEPS® come in mystery flavors, stacked on a stick like a lollipop and you can get giant sized ones too? And depending where you shop, you will find a different variety of flavors... so whether you are shopping at your local pharmacy, grocery store and/or discount store, be sure to check out the selection of PEEPS® - you may find a kind you've never tried before!

We were sent a huge box of PEEPS® In this huge box were the traditional chicks and bunnies, along with all of the new flavors and products! We decided to test them out by simply eating them and used some to make a new dessert creation. In our creation we used purple, blue, white (with a bit of yellow food coloring) and the new cotton candy flavor which is pink with blue edible glitter!

Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter, divided
4 3-4 ounce packages of PEEPS® Chicks or Bunnies, in 4 different colors (this is about 12 PEEPS® for each color)
6 cups crispy rice cereal (divided)
cooking spray
large loaf pan

Directions:
  1. Coat large loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Place 12 of the same color PEEPS® in a medium sized microwaveable bowl and add 1 1/2 tbsp butter. Microwave on high for 45 seconds - 1 minute or until you can easily stir the marshmallow and butter together.
  3. Once the marshmallow/butter mixture is smooth, add 1 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal and mix until cereal is fully coated.
  4. Press mixture evenly and firmly into the loaf pan.
  5. Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 for the other 3 colors of PEEPS® - layering each color on top of each other.
  6. Allow to cool completely and then invert onto a sheet pan to slice.

We were sent a variety of PEEPS® in order to facilitate this article/recipe. All opinions expressed are my own and no other form of compensation was received.
