Routine is the enemy of time. It makes the days, and ultimately the week, fly by! Being a busy mom is the best job in the world. I love that I can be “that person” for my family. But as we all know, being that person requires a lot of energy and time. On a typical day I cook a minimum of three meals in addition to working, cleaning, and all the other tasks that come with Mom Life.

Being on the Jenny Craig Food Program has really helped me keep my food choices structured and dependable. Sundays I prep my added veggies. I love chopped fresh spinach, salsa, fat-free Greek yogurt, broccoli (both fresh and frozen), baby carrots, and radishes.

Like most of you, I wake up in the morning and prepare breakfast for the family. I love the consistency Jenny Craig offers me with a Weekly Guide that I follow. All I have to do for myself is go in the freezer, take my Jenny Craig meal out, and add a cup of fresh spinach.

My favorite breakfast is the Ranchero Skillet. I add chopped fresh spinach, tomatoes, and a dollop of fat-free Greek yogurt.

Lunch is typically the same. As a work from home mama, I used to skip lunches most days as I was trying to get in as much as possible before I pick the kids up from school.  Now I really look forward to my lunch.  I love that it takes me 5 minutes to make my lunch.

Having the consistency and dependability of the Jenny Craig Food menu has been the key to my success. My move goal of two miles per day, five days a week has been manageable and in most cases, I have exceeded that goal. I love walking. It's social, it's easy on my knees, and I can literally do it everywhere.

Each week the scale has moved in the right direction and I feel more balanced than I have in a long time. As time passes quickly, no matter how good or bad the day is, I can always rely on my routine.
