Celebrate National Root Beer Float Day with these A&W Recipes!

This year more than ever we could all use a reason to kick back, relax, and enjoy a sweet, summery treat. Our friends at A&W are sharing two delish' float recipes with us  - one for the kiddos and a boozy one for us adults!

Salted Caramel Root Beer Float

  • Add 2 scoops of salted caramel ice cream
  • Fill to top with A&W Root Beer
  • Top with caramel sauce & a pinch of sea salt

Boozy Root Beer Float

  • Mix together 2 parts coffee liqueur and 3 parts A&W Root Beer in a mug.
  • Add one large scoop vanilla ice cream and stir.
  • For a fun garnish, try dipping the rim of your mug in sweetened condensed milk and then in chocolate sprinkles.
  • Serve with a straw!
